Oh, and, by the way...

In news that most of you don't care about - and V will not want to read - an engineer from Purdue won the 50th running of the Daytona 500 yesterday. It just so happens that he is the driver that I root for in Nascar races. And it has been a loooong time (try September 2005) since he won a race. [Granted, this win meant V's driver ended up 3rd. IMHO, Stewart would've clearly won the race if he had anything like actual help from his teammate. Stewart and Newman both had Busch boys for teammates, but yesterday's performance proved to me that one of them IS actually older than the other.] There was almost as much excitement in our house yesterday as there was when the Tigers won!
