Doing - not talking about it

As you can imagine, this is a very busy time for me. Just learning the details of all of the business and family finances would keep me fairly busy since that adds up to 2 credit card accounts for expenses, and a total of 5 different bank accounts, not to mention invoices, bills and receipts! But I am also continuing to adhere to my Lighten Up principals - which are not quite yet automatic - and keep my old job 20 hours a week. And it really didn't help that I spent almost a full week trying to figure out which post-stress mineral/hormone depletion was making me crazy.

So, today, just a random list of things that I have learned.
  1. 150 micrograms can make a WORLD of difference.
  2. Statement to account to current balance reconciliation is really a difficult and nasty thing.
  3. All of the pictures that I want to keep (from the days before digital cameras) fit in a shoe box.
  4. Spraying peroxide followed by vinegar really does kill anything. You should see my shower grout!
  5. Microfiber cloths are the wave of the cleaning future.
  6. Don't even try to do anything involving retail, groceries, movies or hair cuts the weekend before school starts. You will have no luck.

Wow, what a font of info you are! The biggest ah-ha for me (since I had already gotten the iodine thing) is the microfiber cloths. I wonder if ANY one will do or if it has to be these. I'm going to try with the one I've had in this drawer for a while - unused. I had no CLUE!

Hi, Eva,

The peroxide works like bleach - it kills a few different organic things than bleach does, but it mostly does the same things. The vinegar deals with any mineral residue - like from our terribly Phx hard water. The combination works really well on my grout - both sanded and unsanded - and hasn't done any damage yet!
