It has been another busy week. I'm just basically posting pictures with a few comments cuz I am TIRED!
This has been one of my thrift store (that's charity shop to you, Eva) searches for the last month or so. As you can see here, my pastas and cereals are all in sealed glass containers now. Functional and lovely.
Here is the van that I mentioned in the last post. I would show you the inside, but I'm not sure how HTH feels about having the chaos of his work week shown on the blog...
This closet used to be full. Nuff said.
This one, too. Of course, this is mostly empty due to the fact that our new bed is bigger than our old one. Note to self: must buy sheets to fit new bed.
And this is a bit of randomness. We had a sweet potato and turnip that both started growing on the counter. So we planted them. Sweet potato on the left and turnip on the right. Fall salad, anyone?
And, last but not least, my sister is "Not Listening". But she did make a very cute skirt today.

Good stuff - but the top pic is so good I may copy your idea!
Those jars are very cheap here. The tall ones have been about USD 3 - and less for the shorter ones.
I like that they allow me to use the height of my shelves to store things....
i love charity shops. my friend lives in a real posh part of england (close to where Prince Charles lives) and the best thing with visiting her is checking out all the charity stores and buy rich peoples hand me downs...
I should have re read the blog and sent you sheets instead of knives.
Hey, Eva,
It is so much fun - like a treasure hunt!
And, Amy, I bought sheets yesterday - Overstock is my friend!
