I'm grateful for...

I have spent some time today being grateful for family - blood relatives, family-in-law, and family by choice - and good food. But when I got home from the T-day extravaganza, I spent some time recreating some of my current shower supplies and I realized that I am extremely grateful this year for things that REALLY work for me.

Like sugar scrub made with Blood Orange and Vanilla Olive Oils from Queen Creek Olive mill. The essence of quiet, simple decadence.

Like my fabulous face wash oil that leaves my skin happy even in the desert.

Like the rosemary plants in my front yard that I'm using to infuse Dina's massage oil.

Like this lovely little netbook that I'm using to type this blog.

Like my coffee table covered with books about herbs.

Like iGoogle.

All of these are new things to me this year - but they have added quite a bit to my already amazing life. Most of all, it is good to be in a place where I can just spend a few moments being thankful. I hope the day has give you some of this time as well.
