Ms. ADAW asked about birthday presents recently. It turns out that moving into a slightly anti-consumer lifestyle makes birthday shopping very difficult.

So, in an effort to be VERY proactive, I'm offering a Christmas possibility - Christmas 2010, that is.

Here is my next car. Isn't it pretty? Chevy calls it an "electrically driven car" but it is technically a PHEV - it just works a little differently. But the Plug-in aspect means that a solar panel on the garage roof means that you can charge this thing without using any commercial power.

Yes, of course, I'm joking. But you have to admit, this looks pretty cool - if it goes faster than this video shows, anyway.
