In another random conversation from our series of "who are you and what do you want to be" discussions, V started identifying all of us as whisperers. We've always known that fabric speaks to V, but she also talks back to it. So she is the fabric whisperer. HTH is the machine whisperer - as I've discussed here before. Buck talks to houses to make them happy. I'm a harmony whisperer - both in the musical sense and the fix the discord of a problem sense.
Being able to "hear" things that don't actually speak may seem a bit strange. But learning to listen to them, and realizing that we do that, seems to have a ripple effect in each of our lives. I read - in my North Star book - that each of us has a mission that marries our deep joys with the deepest hungers of the world around us. While this may sound like we should be listening to address some grandiose pressing need, it isn't always that way. Sometimes, the need is small. But our ability to hear and uniquely address that need is a huge thing.
So, I'm curious. Anybody know what kind of whisperer they are? What talks to you? And what does it say?

Wow! Great concept. I'll have to think on this one.
